The Federation of International Civil Servants' Associations (FICSA) is pleased to announce that it has organized a workshop for staff on “Bullying and Harassment in the workplace” to take place at the FAO in Rome on 1 and 2 April 2019. The workshop will be conducted in English by an experienced trainer from the UK.  

Course outline

This 2-day course will enable the staff association/union to raise its profile around the issues of bullying and harassment and help staff representatives to understand workplace bullying and harassment, identify the role of the staff association/union in supporting members in the workplace and identify approaches and solutions to tackling bullying and harassment.

As per standard practice, the workshop is provided free-of-charge for FICSA dues-paying members.[1] For other staff representatives from non-FICSA member organizations the fees are as follow:

  • CHF 250 per person.
  • For members with consultative or observer status, a 30 per cent discount would be applied.

The workshop timetable, along with information on hotel accommodation, will be sent directly to the participants upon confirmation of their participation.

The number of participants is limited to 20. Therefore, it is advisable to register well in advance of the deadline.
