The Federation of International Civil Servants' Associations (FICSA) has organized a training course on Professional salary issues at the IAEA in Vienna from 14 to 16 October 2015. The workshop will be conducted in English by experienced trainers from the International Civil Service Commission (ICSC).

The course will cover the following topics:

14 October:

Professional salaries, an overview of the comprehensive review recommendations (with specific focus on the salary scale and the education grant.

15 October:

Post adjustment issues, providing an overview of the functioning of the post adjustment system and the proposed changes to it based on recent decisions.

16 October:

Question-and-answer sessions on issues of particular interest.

Please note, however, that the field package would not be covered during this course.

This course is offered free-of-charge to FICSA dues-paying members.*

The course programme, along with information on hotel accommodation, will be sent directly to the participants upon confirmation of their participation.

To sign up please use the application form provided in the link below. Nominations should be signed by the President/Chair of the local staff association/union and sent to the FICSA Secretariat <ficsa@unog.ch>; by no later than 8 October 2015. Seats will be confirmed on a first-come first-served basis, irrespective of the duty station of assignment. The number of participants per workshop is limited to 24. Therefore, it is advisable to register well in advance of the deadline.

ALL TRAVEL-RELATED EXPENSES AND DSA MUST BE COVERED BY THE INDIVIDUAL STAFF ASSOCIATION/UNION OR ADMINISTRATION.
